BEAM are thrilled to be back in Maybole working closely with Carrick Academy running a programme for 10 weeks with four S4 pupils. Focusing on a community project working on Martins field, helping to level & organise the poly tunnel so it's ready for school and community groups wanting to use the site. The lads are also looking at fixing the bridge and building a new compost toilet. So far everything has gone to plan and the pupils are enjoying the practical team work, problem solving and the wild open space in the hills. Next up we have some survival and bush craft

training in the woods, before we try some more adventurous activities.
